Information You Submit
Names, phone numbers, and addresses entered in a search box are sent to the outside provider that supplies that result service. Little Elm Residents Directory does not keep a copy of those searches. A message sent to a contact channel contains the information included in that message and is used to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Hosting services may keep ordinary logs such as an IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. Those records help maintain the service and understand aggregated use. Cookies or comparable technologies may support essential analytics or advertising measurement.
How Limited Data Is Used
Technical information is used to operate, protect, repair, and improve the service. Visitor lists are not sold, and the service does not create individual visitor profiles.
External Record Links
Links lead to Denton County, Town of Little Elm, Texas, library, archive, and outside search services. Their privacy terms govern anything submitted on those sites. This includes sponsored search results supplied by a third party.
Service Providers and Disclosure
Hosting and support providers may process the technical data described above. Analytics or advertising partners may receive automatic data needed for their services. Information is disclosed only when valid legal process requires disclosure.
Security and Retention
The service uses an encrypted connection and retains logs only for the purposes described here. It has no visitor accounts, passwords, or personal profiles to maintain.
Visitors Under 18
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Contact the operator if a minor may have submitted information so it can be removed.
Your Privacy Choices
Visitors may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information that this service retains. Texas does not have a general consumer-privacy statute cited in the research that controls this small reference service; requests are handled by reviewing the contact mailbox and relevant logs. Government records remain under the control of their custodian. Texas Government Code Chapter 552 controls many public-record requests, while judicial records follow Texas Rule of Judicial Administration 12.
Policy Revisions
Any policy change will be posted here. Continued use after a posted change means the updated policy applies.
